About Me
I am a member of the Labour Party and I am standing in the 2010 General Election scheduled for the 6th May as the candidate for Shrewsbury and Atcham. I am currently a serving member of both Shrewsbury local and Town Councils and have previously served on the now defunct Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council and Shropshire County Council.
I am married to Diane and have one son with whom I enjoy spending time and having family days out.
I have a passion for helping the community and feel that it is a great honour to be elected to represent the people in local government which makes decisions that impact on everybody’s life.
I am a firm believer in equality and that each and every person be treated with respect and given a right be represented fairly.
Shrewsbury has always been my home from my early upbringing in the Harlescott Grange area to my current address which is in the ward that I proudly represent.
I am currently employed by Royal Mail where I have also served as a CWU representative and Deputy Assistant Area Health and Safety Officer.
